Heinrich Albert Duo - Italia (MDG)
After "Spain" we continue our tour through europe with "Italia". Again we chose only pieces from one country but different epochs. Next to recording some well-known pieces of the repertoire for two guitars, we arranged some compositions that have not been heard from a guitar duo yet. We spent a lot of time working on the arrangements, keen not to change but only to adapt the original text. In the Sonatas of Scarlatti we even used an instrument with a bigger range that was build for that purpose.
